It is with immense joy that we communicate to that the Mediterraneo Cattery is introducing a new race of cats, elegant pointed exotic.
We import our first unit of the United States, the Cattery Compri, with lines of blood of Great world-wide Champions CFA.
Mediterraneo Cattery started ocasionally. Our first cat was a gray male persian. We bought him as a pet to make us company. Unfortunately he didn’t stay with us for long. One day he disapear from our house and we never got any information about him. We spent just a short time together, but it was enough to fall in love for this breed and it make us wish to have a lot of this fluffy balls next to us.
After we decide to start breeding, we did a lot of researches about persians and himalayans because our goal has being always look for health, beautiful cats with sweet expression, loving temperament and personality.
We are glad to had meet Ursula Franke, Ulide Cattery, great breeder and friend, who helped us to start our breeding program with wonderfuls cats.
Our Cattery began on April, 2004 and since there we are focusing on the international breed quality.
We are located in the South of Brazil, in Santa Maria-RS. It’s about 300km from Porto Alegre, capital of RS.
Our Cattery is registered at CGG (Clube Gaucho do Gato), TICA (The International Cat Association) and Atlantic Club Hymalaian.
Our cats are PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease Negative by DNA exam.
We offer all necessary help to the new kitten/cat’s owner. All of our kittens/cats leave our cattery vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, litter box trainned and with a friendly personality. Our kittens just leave our cattery to the new home after they complete 12 weeks old. All of our kittens/cats are shipped with a vet health certificate.
